Qi Writers is a process of exploring patterns of the heart and consciousness using Ren Xue tools, writing, collective sharing, and the power of the Qifield.

You’ll be gently guided into your heart in a process designed to encourage information from your heart and Shen to arise. Different prompts and techniques will be provided to help lower False Self defences and open new and creative avenues for heart and Shen to give you information.

You’ll have the opportunity to gain insights from others, grow in a purpose built Qifield, and develop self-expression in a facilitated community environment. We’ll also have some fun – we don’t need to feel beat up by negative patterns.

*Please note that this Qi Writers session requires participants to be familiar with Tong Yuan. We will practice the three stages of Openness but I will not be teaching the method itself.

Each 8-week series is based on a theme and is developed according to each groups’ interests, needs, and level of understanding.

True Life Begins Here

Qi Writers is a group of like-hearted people who want to gather Qi (life force), use free writing, and be guided in exploring their inner world from beyond conscious thought.

 Why? Because discovering ourselves is one of the most beautiful gifts we can receive from our hearts. It brings joy, clarity, and a sense of peace that ripples out into our relationships too.

Qi Writers love receiving insights from their hearts, writing without needing to think, and supporting others in the joys and mysteries of uncovering who they truly are.

With Qi Writers, you’ll learn more about how to get past conscious thought, explore heart qualities, and safely examine self in a natural way.

We’ll focus on different topics during each six-week session. The topics will grow and evolve along with the group members to reflect new areas of understanding, depth of focus, and comfort levels.

This course is for you if:

  • You’d like to continue growing your life positively while in a committed and supportive environment after completing Write to Reshape Your Inner World;

  • You are a Ren Xue practitioner who wants another way to uplift patterns of the consciousnses from many angles;

Why is the option of sharing your writing an integral part of this course?

To help yourself and to help others. Let’s look at that in more detail:

  • Being held in loving presence and being witnessed can bring new layers of healing and insight. Depending on past experiences, being seen and heard as you are may also empower a sense of self.

  • Receiving reflection from others may add layers of new meaning and bring up new information and questions within the reader for further growth.

  • Hearing someone else’s insights, experiences, and learning can crystalize or accelerate your own.

  • Reading aloud is powerful. It brings out authentic voice, cuts through patterns of fear, and allows the reader to hear themselves in a new way.

  • Connecting with like-hearted others can inspire and encourage us to delve more deeply into ourselves than we have ever dared before.

  • Being together and building a field of trust and openness can move us into our hearts creating opportunities for realisation and wisdom to arise naturally.

  • It can be a catalyst for self-discovery helping you feel more grounded, clear, and joyful.

  • As your joy and internal calm increase, they radiate out to others around you creating a mutually beneficial cycle.

  • Remember, you’ll always having the option to pass – no one will ever be forced to share their writing, thoughts, or feelings.

About Qi

So, what about this word “Qi”?

Qi (pronounced chee) is the underlying force of all life. It’s within us, around us, and of us - even if you aren’t able to see it or feel it. By connecting to the sensation of Qi, we can more easily be present, calm, and internally connected. In class, I will guide you through practices that use Qi. It’s ok if you don’t have any experience with this. We’ll start at the beginning.

We do this because I discovered how using Qi accelerated my ability to connect internally. I want you to develop this ability that leads to realizations from your inner self – like beautiful gifts from your heart. Also, improving Qi levels and Qi flow has physical, emotional, and psychological benefits when practised consistently.

Your Commitment

  • You become an integral part of a supportive circle when you join a class. Your presence - physically, mentally, and emotionally - are important for both your learning and the development of the group. Please arrive on time and be in a place that allows you to have undisturbed focus.

  • Focused and respectful listening encourages, inspires, and connects. It suspends judgement, provides space to hear what wasn’t spoken aloud, and enables learning. Be willing to listen with your heart.

  • Your words and insights are valuable to others. Come with a willingness to share your writing.

  • Humour and lightness are welcome here. Come with a sense of adventure and an openness to try something new.
